Russian Circles

Russian Circles.  No, not some Soviet shit from the days of Stalin, but a rocking indie band from Illinois.  Check out their myspace and rock along to their amazing drummer and stellar guitarist.  These same dudes shredding it on your PC will be playing live at the Troubadour on June 15.  And of course, I'm gonna be there alongside a couple friends who enjoy them as much as I do.  If the tracks on their myspace don't happen capture the musical genius I perceive them to be, check out their live stuff on Youtube, and make sure to pay attention to how awesome the drummer is.  If you still don't like it, then it's either we have conflicting tastes of music or I'm on crack.  I invite you to join me on the 15th to rock out with them at Troubadour, which is an awesome watering hole for a night of great music and people.  Make sure to listen to "Death Rides on a Horse," "Micah," and "Carpe."  Don't forget to rock out with all your might, but also take some to kick back and reminisce this year and the years that have long come and gone.  (I think I said the word "rock" like four times in this post already. Oops, make that five.)
