No matter what happened yesterday, all I have to say is that Kwame Brown is finally gone. For those of you who don't know who the hell this man is, you have been blessed by never seeing him. I am a laker fan, and sometimes I can become an emotional fanatic that screams at a TV screen while over-payed athletes play basketball. Kwame Brown was an absolute horrible player that had some obvious mental breakdown some time in his life. It may have been the fact that he was the #1 pick in the 2001 draft pick coming out of high school, and the fact that he was Michael Jordan's pick. Poor guy was just too young and couldn't get used to the NBA. We traded that butterfinger mess of a player for the second best player in that draft class, Pau Gasol. The Lakers look very good now, and a sense of relief has calmed me down and made my weekend even better. Plus, Kobe is playing like a monster, destroying any defense they throw at him.
If you don't watch basketball, then nothing I just said really matters. At the moment I am finishing some homework assigned by a professor who knows how to screw with you. Tomorrow is Super Bowl Sunday, and I will be rooting for the Giants to crush the Patriots dreams and complete what would be the greatest upset ever in NFL history. But again, if you don't cover any sports, none of this really matters.
Have a good weekend (...wait, am I talking to myself??)
