my eyes were exposed to light
and a world of unknowns
now completely forgotten
in the missing files of my mind

i thought life was tough
with senior projects coming to an end
and closing the chapter on high school
nineteen weeks ago
my freshman year of college
came to a valiant end
confusion ran through me
because of the lack of a challenge
nineteen days ago
i saw the world crash and burn
after a certain point dreams begin
and life ends
the sun becomes a white blue
and we call upon a saint
kinetic friction disappears
movement continues and never stops
nineteen hours ago
i witnessed a crime
an unqualified individual sat at the throne
my eyes rapidly moving
as my body laid stationery
nineteen minutes ago
my stomach growled with pain
while my brain tries to delay the signal
but nature calls
nineteen seconds ago
i began writing...i think.
